BEFORE YOU CONTINUE TOWARDS SCHEDULING A FREE CONSULTATION, note that
I am not the right attorney for, and you should not complete the "Initial Intake," if any of the following applies to you:
- You are in a rush to have the free consultation. The free consultation will be scheduled at least one week out.
- You need to file your bankruptcy immediately.
- You are above the income cut-off for Chapter 7. (Check the "Ch. 7 & 13" page of this website to find out.)
- You are facing foreclosure and you want to keep your home.
- The only reason you are considering bankruptcy is to wipe out student loans. (Message me for a referral.)
- You own a business and the business (not you) needs to file a bankruptcy.
- You own a business which has employees, and you want to keep the business going.
- You do not know how to use a computer. (If you have a friend or family member who can help you that will be fine.) All of my work with clients is done via telephone, text, email, Dropbox and Zoom. (My Dropbox and my Zoom, you will not need to pay one penny for your own accounts.) If you are uncomfortable with technology you should select an attorney who will meet with you in person and give you/review paperwork with you in person.
If none of these apply to you, please keep reading.
Free consultations are generally held every day other than Thursdays and Sundays by Zoom or phone, your choice.
The first step in the process is completing a brief, free "Initial Intake" which involves answering some very easy questions. It can take as little as five minutes online. The "Initial Intake" process is done to determine if you qualify for bankruptcy, which type of bankruptcy you qualify for (e.g. Chapter 7 and/or Chapter 13,) which type might be best for you, and whether or not I can help you. Once we know that I can help we will schedule your free consultation.
